Ever since I started painting still life, I have kept my eyes peeled for fun props to add to my scenes. I remember when I found my first piggy bank at a thrift store - I was so excited to get home and paint him! Since then I have accumulated more pigs (different sizes and colors) and painted them all many times. They add such personality to the scenes, and depending on how I pose and light them, and what they are surrounded by, the story is always different.
